Super Mario's Goombas will always be Ernests to me. (And blue suede Ernests for the underground ones.)
Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure had tubies, and...parabolic curvy birds.

You know what was fun?
Being a kid and not knowing the names of videogame monsters, and making up names for them in your head.

Some feeding tubes can handle puréed food, it's water-thin, some Tubies feel connected that way- but many others, we can't rebuild that and social food gatherings are *extremely* hard and isolating.

I feel for all the Tubies who have to join Thanksgiving meals, despite their nil-by-mouth situation (not all Tubies) and the Depression, and other emotions it raises. 🫂

I feel for all the Tubies who have to join Thanksgiving meals, despite their nil-by-mouth situation (not all Tubies) and the Depression, and other emotions it raises. 🫂

I believe the proper term is "snake-oil salesman", aka "charlatan", alt term: "con artist" and all the tubies who think he's real are in fact "marks".

I found a wheel box in my storage room a few says ago that has two Wolber hoops with stretching Conti tubulars on them plus a half dozen tubies folded up in the bottom. I honestly can't remember when I boxed those up

it's good I can't swallow, so I don't go out to socialise (wheelchair too but ehh), otherwise I will hear 'what if I just inject alcohol via my feeding tube.' 😬
other tubies' experiences are enough for me. Ppl don't like hearing no, they think you're being a wet blanket

I wish I could suggest more; we Tubies just.. have to skip eating except water/electrolytes for a couple days.

I never felt a difference with latex vs butyl. But they were 3 or 4x the price and impossible to patch. So every ride was filled with anxiety "Flat? Dammit! Another €15 down the drain."
I always used a lot of talc with butyl tubies, convinced myself that it helped with rolling resistance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

the modern Crux can also serve as a quiver killer/do it all bike. I used to race my 2015 first generation hydro disc Crux Pro in road, gravel, crits and CX indiscriminately. Just swap wheelsets. had nice aero road wheels, CX tubies and a junk set for monster crossing/ugly gravel and commuting.

If the tubies even look 0.05% like a mutant, we are talking 6 feet underground which is where G.E.A.R. wants these mutants to go down to.
