Trump is often mocked for being witless, but we should be far more concerned that he is thoughtless, that his Trumphasia stems from indifference to others, and finally, that this makes him a very useful idiot to those whose agenda also makes room for his own advancement. 26/

Now, America in 2018 isn’t Nazi Germany, and Trump is the leader of the free world, not a bland bureaucrat, but the parallels between the stunted language of Trumphasia and Eichmann’s “empty talk” are troubling. 25/

So what? POTUS is known for bigly malapropisms, undressed word salads, and the bludgeoning use of words in dominance rituals. Also, covfefe. Silver-tongued he ain’t. However, the repetition of stock phrases is interesting and gives us a chance to discuss #Trumphasia. 6/
