Playing off the memory stick helps too. I can't imagine going through those early hours with the awful base loading times. Still can't say I'm really that impressed, especially on the back of Atelier Totori that did many of the same things better. But certainly enjoying more now than at the start.

Atelier Totori is great because one moment there will be a very wholesome scene that makes your heart melt, and the next you're coming home to your laboratory where a small army of tiny humans you made in a vending machine are producing bombs in exchange for a steady supply of meat pies.

Totori Plus was my second Atelier game after Mana Khemia and I intentionally ran out the clock because I was stuck on the boat quest. The game is pretty darn generous with its time limit by my experience.
