I’d love to see WB/D truly support Toonami but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards. Especially with the state of WB/D and potential sale of the studio and all of its IP and HBO Max.

They have plenty of time left to do something with the library currently at their disposal but I doubt they will.

On paper, putting action animation from WB on Toonami makes a whole lot of sense. But the network doesn’t even see fit to premiere Primal on Toonami because it still sees Toonami as second class at best. And WB/D values HBO Max above linear.

They should at least try a WB series made for Toonami.
