The Japanese box art for Urbz: Sims In The City. Instead of the simple, orange and black background of the original box art, this box art is a lot more flashy, featuring lots of various neon lights and tall buildings. There's three custom player characters in the front; a brunette woman with a neon pink crop top and pink crop jacket with sun glasses and a gold necklace; man with dread-like black hair and a short black beard in a mesh(?) black top and a silver chain; and another woman with a short black bob in a low-cut blazer with no shirt underneath. Behind them are 5 other characters, from upper left to right: A man with blue spiky hair and bright green/yellow glasses, a neon green scarf, and a neon pink jacket; a woman with shoulder length pink hair in two mini-pigtails, star-shaped yellow sunglasses, a puffy vest with many neon colors including pink, orange, red, green, and white, and a yellow wrist band; a woman with big magenta/purple hair with two feathers coming out of it, chunky sunglasses, a white fur(?) jacket, a light blue sleeveless top and a pearl necklace; will . i . am's character, who has dreads, a blue paperboy cap, chunky sunglasses, an orange and brown blazer with a yellow and orange tie; and a goth character with legitimate spike hair (not anime-styled spikey), white face makeup with black eyeliner and lip stick, a spiked choker, a leather jacket, either a tattoo or graphic tee, and jeans with a studded belt.) The original box art for Urbz: Sims In The City. It's much simplier than the Japanese version, featuring 4 characters and a white or grey bull dog in front of a simplified orange cityscape outlined in black. The four characters are: a woman with shoulder length pink hair in a swoopy style wearing a black crop jacket with flame detailing on the sleeves, a magenta crop top, low rise light-colored jeans and a black belt with a silver belt buckle; a woman with an afro, big hoop earrings, a plum blazer and magenta pants; a man with a mostly bald head except for a red ponytail, a soul patch, a lot of green tattos, and green shorts; and a man with a facial hair in a white hoodie with a purple and yellow jersey over it. The top and bottom of the image has the normal Gamecube game case format of the time, as well as an EA GAMES logo at the bottom. The game case, manual, and disc for the Japanese version of Urbz: Sims In The City. The interesting part if that, as opposed to the orange cityscape on the manual and disc in the original/American release of the game, they instead use a medium blue color.
