Likely the reason critics call father, "Baldy McNosehair". MARIA: *Snerk* ...McNosehair. Hah! SAGE: MARIA. PANEL 2 MARIA: (Off-screen) Sorry! Sorry. It is a funny name, you gotta admit. Aaaand... PANEL 3: Maria finishes the drawing, a silhouette of Sage's head with an S drawing on the top left corner. MARIA: (Off-screen) DONE! So what do you think? PANEL 4 SAGE: Interesting...any reason for the altercations to my hair? MARIA: Just a simple style choice! Making that swirl in your hair into a "S", for Sage! FUN FACT

Went through a lot of designs for Zombie Maria Robotnik for "The Sisters Robotnik" AU, with a lot of little references I sneaked in. The biggest one? Maria's skin tone and bandaged arm are nods to House of the Dead EX's Zobiko.

Yes, I'm a Sega nerd.

Another character joins the Sisters Robotnik AU, Tikal. Trapped between two worlds, she gets tied to Maria due to Sage's botched revival attempt. Though in a way she acts as the secret fifth member due to her power benefits.
