The structure is up! #TheReShelvening
A floor to ceiling bookcase, made of pine. It is 2 bays wide and 8 shelves high, each shelf has space for a graphic novel/slightly tall paperback. The second bay has a slightly shorter space to the right as that ceiling slopes, but even there a small paperback would fit.

One thing I have realised during #TheReShelvening, as I pass things to Dave, is that Spirit Level sounds like it should be a much more occult thing. It sounds like something a medium might talk about.

There was a lot of dust on those books, not just the ones that were piled on the top. Can't let it go so long without having a sort out and clean up again. Though the new shelves don't have a back, so hopefully dust will be less encouraged settle, and it can't hide so well. #TheReShelvening

Progress on #TheReShelvening
The first picture is all my TBR books, 4 fifths of which are from the most crammed shelf of the original bookcase, with a few I stored in another room. The second picture is everything else!
5 piles of books of various sizes, the piles are about 8 - 12 books high and slightly haphazard. They are at one end of a single bed with a green cover. The previous picture's 5 piles of 8-12 books are dwarfed by 7 further rows of books and graphic novels, again all different sizes and piles haphazardly. Each additional pile is at least 3 books higher than the original row, except the one on the other end, which is piles of graphic novels, which are thinner than books. All the books are on a green bedcover, and beyond them, wedged between the single bed and the wall is a dismantled table.
