In #ThePest, we see “The Pest” is employed by a Chinese restaurant named “Fat Wong Foo: Chinese Food Deliveries”. Props to the film, for using a funny name like that - as well as having numerous scenes of loud and unapologetic flatulence. When the hunter/villain smells “The Pest” - HILARIOUS. Ⓐ

Comedies in the 90's had a completely different vibe, didn't they? It was usually really wrong and cringe, and I kinda miss them.

As the end credits for the #ThePest roll, “The Pest” is again triumphantly singing in the shower - and the movie is giving the middle finger to everyone who wanted to see “The Pest” die onscreen. So I APPLAUD the film for the contempt it has for its own audience. Ⓐ

Good grief, this movie's so annoying! I'm starting to sound like Jamesy. No really, this movie is annoying beyond belief. Want to take an endurance test? See if you can get through the first five...

So the movie #ThePest begins with “The Pest” singing in the shower, while behaving as though he’s gearing up to make his stand-up comedy debut - on the set of #SesameStreet. I presume he’d have the pre-schoolers in his audience rolling in the aisles. Ⓐ

I say #ThePest is a mediocre film - I’m one of the few adults that didn’t hate it. But I WOULD ALSO SAY #Predator is the best movie adaptation of #TheMostDangerousGame (that I’ve seen). Also, The Pest is BETTER than most adaptations of that crappy short story. Now THAT, is saying something. Ⓐ

For the typical adult, watching the movie #ThePest is an endurance test of the most unendurable kind - they’ll find the hero (“The Pest”) so goddamn ANNOYING, they’ll want to strangle him with their bare hands. Since they can’t, they’ll cross their fingers that he will somehow die onscreen ASAP. Ⓐ

In the movie #ThePest, “The Pest” makes an #AngelaDavis reference - because he’s meeting a black family (so he stereotyped them as #Marxist revolutionaries). To quote the father: “Who’s Angela Davis?” I LOVED the fact the film cited her! Ⓐ

Saw #ThePest - a parody of #TheMostDangerousGame, that I heard about while browsing #Wikipedia for movie adaptations of that short story. Needless to say, when I saw this brilliantly worded Wikipedia synopsis for the film - I knew I MUST SEE IT.

I expected to intensely hate #ThePest - and yes, just about everyone over the age of ten will view the protagonist (nicknamed “The Pest”) as among the most annoying characters in movie history. BUT I was SHOCKED that I was often entertained by many of “The Pest’s” juvenile and hypermanic antics. Ⓐ
