Yeah. I've been using the same dealer for almost 20 years, and they still do it for my annual service. If they didn't, I'd have to go round to Tesco for a valeting

Current car bought new, now 5+ years old but still under warranty, which might be a factor. Previous car lasted me 12+ from new

Driving back from Tesco, there is a magnificent tree. I'll get a photo of it, next time I go.

Of course, Tesco has not “stolen” Christmas. Far from it, as their cheeky holiday ad campaign (among many other things) clearly demonstrates.

Seems the non-existent “War on Christmas” started early this year across the pond with easily-triggered right-wing Islamophobes and Christian reactionaries getting their collective knickers in a twist over retail giant Tesco selling “evergreen trees”...

🎉 What a fantastic start to our Tesco collection!

We're absolutely in awe of the kindness and generosity of shoppers in Musselburgh, North Berwick and Haddington today. #thanks to everyone who has stopped by, donated, and chatted with our wonderful volunteers - you're all amazing!

Agree.

But pedestrians already basically have the same right to cross side road. But it doesn’t work well in practice.

Painted zebras were tested and have a very high level of compliance by drivers (it’s why Tesco car parks have them!).

Doing this is cheap and reinforces European norms.

If I had a 2 million pound house I would sell it, buy the <£200k flat I live in beside the trendiest bit of Glasgow, and spend the rest on 18 thousands tonnes of Rowntrees Randoms which are 1p a gram in Tesco.

I just had one of those "go to Tesco for just a few things and then buy way more than planned" moments. I mean, they had a Clubcard offer on dark chocolate Hobnobs and this 4x440ml pack of Vocation Hilltop Lager reduced to a fiver - what was I supposed to do?

Wait, I thought Christmas had been cancelled because of something on a box in Tesco or something like that. 🤷‍♂️

They were trialled as far back as the 70s in a Tesco (I believe) subsidiary called Victor Value.

A particularly good takedown of the "They're cancelling Xmas" bs. From trees & cakes to 'crescent' halos on stamps:
"I doubt Jesus would have minded plastic Tesco trees being called snowy pine cone trees, but he may have been disturbed by the racism and anti-migrant rhetoric around at the moment."

It's been a busy morning on the first day of our Winter Food Collection.

We've been joined by an amazing team of volunteers from O2 Daisy at Tesco Extra Savile St who have been receiving donations from shoppers.

One Christmas me and another shopper at New Oscott Tesco were trying to find double cream and a young lad working there offered us two pots of single cream cos that makes double cream.

Side note: the other shopper was TV’s Emma Willis.
Ok hear me out: for medium soy sauce can you do half and half dark and light?

And for medium paprika can you do half hot and half sweet paprika?

Is that anything?
