SwitchBuddy will soon show supported languages for games. This relies on IGDB data but should be quite reliable.

This is first version, in the future I want to primarily display relevant languages based on your device settings.

Alright, so I revamped my entire Home Screen again. I was tired of the folder aesthetic so I'm trying to go back to all icons.

I did some of it by consolidating some apps into iOS Shortcuts, so for example, for all my track media apps, it's one button. Prettier icon than a folder.
Icons on my Home Screen: Music, Spotify, Photos, Camera, Fantastical, Maps, Find My, Notes, Bluesky, Discord, Ivory, rar admin, Action Button shortcut, Track Media shortcut, Game App shortcut, Nintendo Today!, App Store, NYT Games, Files, Parcel. Also a Due app widget in the top right corner. Shortcut menu that shows my ringer status and then has the following options: Set Ringer ON and OFF actions, Add Calendar Event, Track Media, Open Calculator, Run a Spreadsheet Flow, Run a Home Scene, Scan a Document, Open Gaming App, Chronicling - Add Event, Open Cellular Settings, and Cute Wife Actions Track Media shortcut that shows the options for tracking Movie, TV, Video Game, Books, and Board Games. These open apps like Letterboxd, Trakt, or in later cases sub menus with more options like tracking my current games (Backloggd) vs my game collection (GAMEYE), multiple reading apps like Goodreads and/or StoryGraph, or my book collection in BookBuddy, and various pages on BoardGameGeek for either tracking my board game collection, plays, or wishlist. I had to update which data SwitchBuddy has, figure out how to efficiently query this and then integrate it into filtering logic on the server 😀

Soon the app will get "Recent activity" section. This makes it super easy to update status or just view games that you modified recently.

While hatching the latest batch of Cyndaquil (187, iirc), I might not have gotten the shiny I've been aiming for, but these happened!

(Also the official Switch app has made file transfers somewhat easier than the third party SwitchBuddy. Great QoL adjustment!)

Enfim estamos a caminho da evolução nesse sentido, amiga!! O que me facilitou um pouco no Switch foi usar o app SwitchBuddy no celular, não é tão bom quanto essa ideia do compartilhamento automático no SW2, mas já ajuda a deixar um pouco mais prático!

The SwitchBuddy app is a freakin' game changer for Switch media sharing -- you can just scan the QR code without jumping through further hoops.

I wish I'd known about this sooner, before Switch 2's app-share comes to town. So much unshared pics and media I've wanted to show...
