Standard RAG models are powerful but limited by the single-shot principle and no feedback loop. Community member Lay Sheth shows how the Reflexion RAG Engine, powered by SurrealDB, adds a multi-cycle, self-correcting architecture.👇
SurrealDB | Beyond basic RAG: Building a multi-cycle reasoning engine on SurrealDB
Standard RAG models operate on single shot principle. The Reflexion RAG Engine overcomes this through a multi-cycle, self-correcting architecture powered by SurrealDB.

You can find the respective queries in my post about SurrealDB.

I wrote it for people who primarily use relational databases and want to try Surreal (like me!):

been waffling with architectural decisions around the DB. Things "within" Godot and Bevy are generally synchronous. But I need to call out to a DB and itchio which are async calls, so making them from within the simulation complicates things

drawing it out helps a lot

Sempre fico pensando que SurrealDb é neo4j são coisas legais de usar nesses casos. Ou talvez usar um Apache AGE no Postgres fique daora também. Ou sempre rolar fazer na mão pra estudar né hehe

In the ideal world this would be my stack for desktop/mobile apps

- Tauri
- Bun for building, bundling and running typescript
- Angular
- SurrealDB with offline first capabilities

Who wouldn't love that?
