Clearly, this was a week where I was spoiled for choice when it came to selecting the Book of the Week! All of this week's books turned out to be fan-damn-tastic. Did you remember to set your clocks back last night? Or this morning? AND, did you curse the ancestry of everyone involved with the manufacture of any clocks that you still have to remember to change? We don't have a lot left, just the microwave, one last actual windup clock, and the cars. I hate changing the clock in the car, because I never think of it before I get on the road, then I check the time but can't fix it until I reach my destination.

This time LAST week, I thought I might have a bit of a 'bail and flail' at the end of THIS week. I also predicted that the cats and I would all be a bit off-kilter because Galen was away for part of the week. I was a bit too right on both counts. George is on overwatch in this picture, as he often is. He likes to have a view of the front door, OR, he likes to be in a position where he can keep an eye on both of us. Or both. Happy Sunday y'all! This week and year are moving at a lightening pace. There are only 19 days to Halloween, 46 days to Thanksgiving, 74 days to Christmas, and 81 days to the New Year 🤯 With the holiday season rapidly approaching, I'm feeling a little anxious. Normally, I've started (and nearly completed) my shopping by now, but I haven't even looked yet.

Why is FRIDAY the 13th such a big deal? Tomorrow is MONDAY the 13th. Considering the bad rep that Mondays already have that should be a whole lot scarier! Just saying... I'm spoiled for choice for this past week's featured read - so there are two! It's rare to have two A+ reads in the same week but sometimes good things happen.

Happy Sunday y'all! I'm happy to be back to blogging after a short break in September. Vacation was amazing, but also exhausting. I had big plans to be back full time after Disney, but you need a vacation to rest after Disney 😅 This was our fourth year going, and as always, we had a blast and have already booked next year's trip.
