#Sudetenland
In the real world history has a role: in 1938 Hitler threatened to annex Sudetenland, part of Czechoslovakia, to unite German speakers. It led to the Munich Agreement where Britain & France, appeased him by ceding the territory, ultimately failing to prevent WW2 as he then broke that agreement.

Glad he's thinking Sudetenland is next as I thought Catford maybe high on his list even though Wetherspoons have abandoned here and there is no oil.

Mike Tapp in 1938: Look, we're not going to give a running commentary on who should or shouldn't run the Sudetenland. Lebensraum is a matter for Germany... what's that? No, I'm not going to be drawn on the hypothetical issue of Poland.

At this moment, it is very sad to be a European. This must be how it felt when people heard what Chamberlain did to Sudetenland.
You have more balls than this & you know the implications are for small states.

EU has to do the right thing & stand up for our values, also when it has a cost, but Ukr is not vulnerable anymore.

The Europeans want EU to lead & stand up to Trump, not another year as appeasers-in-chief.
The 3rd of January 2026 will go down in history as a seminal moment - the death of the international order that has held the world together for 80 years.

Through their cowardice, our European leaders were willing accomplices in its destruction. We should never forget that.

Sudetenland, then take all (Hilter 2.0.) Anyone complains lock them up.
You are watching the 1930's Racist thinking to enable a dictator to take over...-

“…he & the PM of France, Edouard Daladier, agreed 2 Hitler’s demands 4 Czechoslovakia 2 cede a portion of its territory known as the Sudetenland 2 Germany; in return, Hitler assured the Western Allies that he had no further territorial ambitions.

Appeasement and ‘Peace for Our Time’
Concessions in diplomatic negotiations were nothing new, but after Munich, appeasement took on a new meaning.

Ukraine is a sovereign nation that can choose its own alliances.
"What was Putin supposed to do?": Not invade. That's what international law says.
"Ethnic Russian territory?": Same logic Hitler used to invade Sudetenland.

Royally fucking up their 1st Sudetenland LARP because they’re 12 years old, bro. Lucky for them, there’s no opposition party in America.
WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

Is Venezuela the 2026 version of Sudetenland? Or was the Crimea?

Look at all these buffoons laughing at the prospect of Trump taking European territory for the U.S. we have entered a period of utter madness. Nothing like it since Hitler claimed Sudetenland and invaded Poland

Great Britain and France allowed Hitler to march into Austria in 1938,then he annexed Sudetenland the same year, in 1939 he took the rest of Czechoslovakia, they didn't declare War until he attacked Poland in 1939.

The West is silent on Venezuela too while Trump threatens all US neighbors.
January 5, 2026 at 2:46 AM
To Canadian cheering on the invasion of Venezuela, consider that Trump has frequently and publicly advocated for annexing Canada, as have a whole bunch of MAGAt talking heads.

To use a WW2 analogy, Venezuela might be the Sudetenland in the Czechoslovak Republic, Canada might be Poland.

@durbin.senate.gov @duckworth.senate.gov Where does it end? When is enough, enough? Does he have to claim the Sudetenland for additional “lebensraum” before you get concerned?

“We need the Sudetenland for national security and unity!”
Trump: "We need Greenland from a national security situation. It's so strategic. Right now, Greenland is covered with Russian and Chinese ships all over the place. We need Greenland from the standpoint of national security. And Denmark is not gonna be able to do it ... the EU needs us to have it"

Austria. The Sudetenland. All of Czechoslovakia. Poland.
TRUMP: Colombia is very sick too. Run by a sick man who likes making cocaine and selling it to the US, and he's not gonna be doing it very long

Q: So there's will be an operation by the US in Colombia?

TRUMP: Sounds good to me

Anschluss
Sudetenland
Czechoslovakia
Memel
Poland

This story is the same.
Trump in a single gaggle on Air Force One just threatened:

-- a second strike against Venezuela
-- Cuba
-- Mexico
-- Colombia
-- Iran
-- Greenland (which in turn would be an attack on the EU and Denmark)

The EU needs to hold firm and not capitulate to his rantings here. We are getting very far down the Lebensraum/Sudetenland path here already. 🤬🤬🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
