"In the hidden valley of Insulin, below the slopes of Trazodone, by the waters of Sertraline, the brothers Suboxone and Sublocade, sons of Methadone the old, found rest and comfort in the counsels of wise Baclofen, the song of fair Tylenol, and the sweet cordial Ativan."

Just throwing out that people living in Rural Western New York seeking substance abuse treatment often have to use Medicaid transportation to make it to/from suboxone doses, often over an hour one-way.

The choices are basically Buffalo or Jamestown/Olean.

People are smuggling "Suboxone... used in medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction" into the jail because of the lack of medical treatment for withdraw from drugs

Now they are getting additional charges because of the govt's failure to provide adequate healthcare to those incarcerated
Ten people accused of smuggling suboxone into Santa Fe County jail
The case is at least the fourth in four years where inmates or others being accused of smuggling the substance into the jail.

Agree!
To try to start a "kill ' em all" war with another country involves skipping right over the VOLUNTARY nature of taking illicit drugs. If they really want to stop deaths, treat the addiction. Pay for rehab. Pay for Suboxone or methadone. Fund universal basic income.

No need to kill folks.

One of the more notable additions is a section that advances the potential rescheduling of Suboxone, or any buprenorphine/naloxone combination product.

My controversial take as someone who has been on the rehab side while my partner is on the chronic pain side - shutting down the pill mills and making doctors so paranoid while suboxone was so hard to get is the reason this even became an issue.

I’m piss broke with bills coming up, jobless, sick from suddenly losing access to suboxone, and life’s generally FUBAR seemingly at the moment. But I’m so madly in love and that keeps me going. “I Will” by The Beatles/Sir Paul McCartney. Love is great. #beatles #paulmccartney #trans #cover #guitar

My guys in the prison said Effexor withdrawal was worse than illicit use of Suboxone (which also won’t kill you)

You can get real sick withdrawing from opiates but it won’t kill you quite the way a benzo withdrawal problem will

But also people who use drugs deserve respect even if they use drugs 🫶🏻

Kratom can make you inappropriately test positive for Suboxone even though it’s sold legally in many states

That drug test thing can really fuck up your life if you’re in a certain scenario

Not to mention the intense psychosis

Insomnia & mania

Kratom is no fucking joke and it’s LEGAL(?)

Retired substance abuse counselor here. I have always doubted Kennedy’s alleged recovery. Majority of opioid addicts relapse across the lifespan unless treated with methadone, suboxone, or naltrexone. Cabinet nominees should submit to drug testing.

it's just another avenue for revenue that can be "sin" taxed at 30% unlike every oxycontin pill or fentanyl patch or strip of suboxone, so that nowone has to pay taxes, since tax avoidance is the raison d'etre of the white power white jesus womyn killing tax avoidant misogynistic xenophobic bigoted

N.A. is free-of-charge and has saved countless lives worldwide. Greedy charlatans push Ketamine, Suboxone, Methadone, and THC-9 products on Addicts preventing them from getting Clean: A death trap! Dr. Marino is just another greedy know-it-all who really does not know a damn thing about N.A.

last week, I:

- observed patient's green phlegm, which they coughed onto a paper towel to show me
- documented patient believes diarrhea is because "my IQ is leaking from my brain"
- prescribed suboxone films for fentanyl user
- scrutinized oozing leg ulcer
- comforted crying 42 yr old on dialysis

Bluesky really is my suboxone to Twitter. It doesn’t give me the same high but the scrolling eases something in my soul.

Suboxone was the best at that, with a 70 mg capsule of Vyvanse

I saw that cruel video of an ER staff laughing at a "drug seeker" leaving AMA, and i wonder if it wouldn't just be easier an better for ERs that do have a lot of addicts to have a methadone/suboxone unit on site as a option for help?

Not necessarily an inpatient center but a logical place for help.
