The Hecate Strait is a body of water located in British Columbia, Canada. It separates Haida Gwaii from the mainland of British Columbia. The strait is primarily known for its rugged terrain, unique marine environment, & deathly currents.

Hecate Straight is Earth’s 4th most dangerous body of water.

Beautiful as they are to look at it's unconscionable to keep whales in captivity. We stopped doing that here in Victoria, BC (i.e., Sealand) over 30 years ago. Now tourists go out and annoy them in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, which is also problematic.
