Hard agree. I have non-existent titties so I left bras in 2020. I posted a pic on my IG story yesterday and every comment was about my nipples. Nipples are not comment worthy. We all have them.

Everyone stims differently, and I *obviously* can't speak for/to all neurodivergent folk, but if you've never tried wearing a self-winding watch where you can feel the weight inside spinning when you move your wrist, I definitely recommend it :-)

stims are easy mode though- clearer and faster feedback and to the extent the impacts aren’t wysiwyg it’s mostly to the upside

Maybe medication when I was a kid might have done *soooomething* for me, but I truly view medicating small children as something that is done for the adults. They were bothered by my hyperactivity, not me. They were bothered by my stims. They wanted me medicated repeatedly, but I was quite happy!

Two new verbal stims have entered into my vocabulary and that is not a good thing. Every time I catch myself saying them today, I close my eyes, grit my teeth, and tell my autism to stop it. They are:

my issue is i'm on the max dose of vyvanse and its lost a lot of effectiveness, but i can't do holidays bc withdrawal effects combined with uncontroble appetite (been on stims since 5, so body never learned to regulate) make those non-tenable.

we’ve done some experimenting, the kid for which it’s a problem has food issues that we’re pretty sure are sensory stuff even absent the stims so it’s kind of complicated. He’s keeping up and then some on the growth charts so to some extent we just bull through
