In the middle of the painting is the saint, wearing only a cloth that covers him from the waist down; his head is turned to look up at the sky. To the viewer’s left is a figure tying the saint’s hands behind him, with rope. To the viewer’s right is a male figure with a white beard wearing a brown hooded robe, holding a statuette which the website text refers to as an idol.
