Back in July, we enjoyed walking St Cuthbert’s Way, from Melrose to Lindisfarne.

I’m not sure how dry it gets at the lowest tide, but it was still quite splashy for us in places.

Also today, as well as crossing the A1, we had to go over the East Coast main line.
There is actually a level crossing, but you have to phone and get permission, so we cheated and walked a few hundred metres up the road to go over the bridge!
