Also since I managed to pause when the dialogue box was out of the way, just more spritework I enjoy, from X sitting in his ridiculously big throne, to Weil immediately becoming Evil Vizier with his hands behind his back.

Sonic 1 on Master System/Game Gear has some lovely backgrounds.

Even later Sonic games on those systems, which do improve upon the spritework, don't have backgrounds as richly detailed as these.

Also, FFTA reused spritework from Tactics Ogre—which is *also* an awesome game! In terms of tone it’s closer to FFT, but it’s got deeper systems than FFT and branching storylines. Easily hundreds to a thousand hours to 100%, and worth every minute imho.

you make some awesome spritework you deserve every penny

Always a shame when amazing key art and spritework gets squandered on a patchy rushjob of a game

Man, so far P2 has been... extremely boring (compared to P3). Im playing the psp ver.

The cast and spritework screams 90s vibes, but it is the GAMEPLAY, it is too repetitive. You walk like 3s and bam, new encounter. The music is a bit annoying. I agree with the consensus: good story, bad gameplay.

Finally getting some Spritework up and running again! I didn't really like how Valentina looked before, so I made a few alterations and BOOM, new idle-!

YEEESSS!!!! I love seeing more pixelart from you; I still remember the shiba knight, and I can definitely feel the 90s CAPCOM spritework influence here!! What an absolutely lovely sprite 💖💖💖

I attempted using the tools to make a mario vs the rabbids mod where everyone's xcom outfits were the mario overalls.

Didn't get very far because spritework physically kills me

Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song is amazing so far (I'm near the endgame). I unironically love the art style. I enjoyed the SNES original and its spritework, but I can't deny that I prefer the more flamboyant and fantastical style of the remake.

Some of the most beautiful spritework on the GBA.
The Legend of #Zelda: The Minish Cap was out 21 years ago (in 2004) for the #GBA! Link's biggest adventure (because he turned into tiny dude); utilizing a creative overworld and crisp sprites. I'd love to see more Capcom developed Zeldas again!🍀

the platonic ideal of GBA spritework
On this day 20 years ago, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap first released on the Gameboy Advance (2004) (Japan)
