This is super-cool (ha). (1) Link to a preprint? (2) [stats pedantry] I'd prefer a statement about the strength of interaction (change in slope wrt °C / year of age) to a statement about dichotomous "stat sig for group X, non-sig for group Y" [sorry] Gelman & Stern. 2006. doi.org/10.1198/0003....

Yeah so Giant's Causeway actually is all that. Literally found the end of the rainbow, as well as the location for the final scene of MAEVE (Pat Murphy & John Davies, 1981) (Not pictured bc it was hailing by the time we worked it out.)

#FromMyWalk today: frost flowers bursting from thistle stems, and the winter sun skyscape pressing down on my head. No snow here, yet. Feels odd to be back walking solo round and round my tiny circuit...still there is much to see!

The two islands off the coast of Newfoundland felt the earthquake, which lasted one minute. The tsunamis destroyed several structures on the islands, but thankfully did not kill or injure anyone. Various families were left homeless by the disaster.

It is definitely a slippery slope, I don't disagree. But... I guess my internal logic is... When a smaller/indie Dev team uses tools to help them make something special... it's a positive... when a huge publisher uses slop to "save" money...fuck those people. If that makes sense

What's the point of running a meticulously organized calendar if you aren't going to check it? I don't mind doing this one alone but I'm worried it's going to be a slippery slope.

From what I understand is they payed actors to use their voices to train their own Ai vocals. I personally have decided to not buy ARC because of this, as I see it as the beginning of a slippery slope, but I would by no means call the game slop.
