The language of this pardon is extremely broad.

It includes “all United States citizens for conduct relating to the advice, creation, organization, execution, submission, support, voting, activities, participation in, or advocacy for or of any slate or proposed slate of Presidential
electors…”

Also I love how handsomely flirtatious Slate can look in like, every angle now

You know, it would be really funny if *it* happens this week, and just wipes the slate clean for Dems.

This was one of the big changes I made when I took over moderation of Slate comments. I successfully managed a shift from a comment section openly at war with the authors and moderators of the site to a comment section that has some rough edges, but is no longer a headache or net negative for Slate.
the choice to never publicly talk about mod decisions (which is common policy of virtually every corporate social media platform) has been catastrophic for the legitimacy of content moderation. users don’t trust/understand policies, forcing them into a necessarily adversarial position towards mods.
Our policy has been not to comment on individual accounts. You end up having to litigate every case in public, and we don’t have the capacity for infinite debates in public.

Then there’s also the consequences such as the increased litigation and bad actors gaming your systems.

Hi writers! I’m looking to assign a couple of features for Slate before the end of the year. If you have anything in mind that you think would be a fit please send me a pitch! Jenée.Desmond- harris@slate.com or dm me.

RTs are appreciated so this can reach more people. Thanks!

5. This provision is what evidently triggered the closures. Regional library systems across the state are now tasked with determining the compliance of books with Tennessee’s “age-appropriateness” laws, as well as federal law and President Donald Trump’s slate of anti-trans executive orders.
A Line By Line Analysis Of Trump's Big Anti-Trans Executive Order
Trump released over 70 executive orders on Monday. While orders on immigration and climate got a lot of attention, his anti-transgender order could have sweeping impacts as well.

Thought this was about me for a second but then remembered it was The New Yorker, not Slate, that wrote up what an #influencer I am
He's got 80k followers on here, recently had a profile in Slate, and has been cited in multiple high profile articles this year. I think people who matter take him seriously.

Anime profile pic leftists have never effected real positive change in the world, so their opinions are safe to discount.

If you want an explanation for How It Came To This, then stuff like this - the national heritage body having to fight off an infestation of feral wingnut cranks who were deliberately set upon them by the Mail, the Sun, the Times, the Telegraph and the Express - is a helpful microcosm.
