This painting amuses me, because while the paintover is more recent, the original sketch is from 2015(!)

I didn't touch it for years until doing a paintover of it for fun/practice; decided the original concept was somewhat banal, resulting in how it looks now.

I go into this more in the sketchblog post, but this page wasn't drawn with animation in mind from the start. But last summer's pg14 tests are what lead to last month's animation, which is why I wanted to add it.
