Chuck Shumer has a complex difficult job as minority leader because Americans voted Republican and Trump has no sympathy for the pain he inflicted on Americans. In fact cruelty is his main pleasure. If you think you could do better, you are wrong. Who else but a strong leader would want that job?

You are conflating active legal actions and decisions (ie Shumer recently) with the soft art of persuasion that has no consequence if it doesn't work. I assume you think this is a "show of weakness" when it's not. And I'm well aware of who she is. She's the submissive dog rolling over here, not us.

Well... here comes another opportunity for Chuck Shumer and his centrist buddies to capitulate to the GOP.
