The thing that gets me about this is that even if we wanted to make a positive AI ad, they never showcase AI being used to enhance someone’s day or improve their workflow. There’s no “it allows me to more easily do what I love.” It’s always presented as a failsafe for the dispassionate and incurious

I know it's difficult, but there just isn't a shortcut around saying 'sorry, you're wrong and here what the facts are', and in some cases just being quite blunt about the fact the issue is that these guys just have a lot of resentment that they don't have the position they think they 'deserve'.

i wrote a shortcut for my phone that queries via rail website to get an up to date train ETA and built it into my girlfriend countdown shortcut so i get an accurate countdown until when lex arrives and today being the moment of truth for whether or not it works and IT DOES!!! PROGRAMMING LOVE WINS

Never occurred to me that people use AI to help them generate prompts to ask AI, but it should have. Some people will do 4x the amount of work as long as it feels like they’re taking a shortcut.

There is one (1) shortcut which bypasses all of these and goes straight to WARHOUND, and that is starting the pipeline at BIONICLE (2001), which grants the nonstandard pronouns perk almost immediately
