Engineering students (especially now with engineering being a very big umbrella!) see model selection in their education, which is all about making choices in how to represent a problem while considering tradeoffs arising from different decisions

I use hemp products for chronic pain in a state with legal med and rec. Medical costs about 4x as much which is annoying, but I can afford it, but the selection absolutely sucks The ability to order online from a reputable company with independent labs has made a huge difference in my life.

It’s a Wonderful Life – Liverpool’s Royal Court Studio
Considered to be one of the greatest films of all time, Frank Capra’s wholesome tale of community, love and redemption has become a staple of the Christmas movie selection. Adapted by Mary Elliot Nelson, tonight is a reimaging of the tale of George Bailey who, contemplating ending his life following the collapse of the business and town that he has given up his own dreams to keep afloat, is given a glimpse of what life would be like if he had never been part of it.

Even if it finishes 7-1 in the American Conference, the Tulane football team will need some help from the college football playoff selection committee or an unexpected loss by either South Florida or North Texas to reach the championship game.

tbh I think I would be way more interesting to name the teams, have them show up, then literally have a lottery ball-style selection right before they’re due to compete.
