Unfortunately, #PsychoPass S2 isn't quite as good as the first, mainly due to the antagonists kinda messing with the Sibyl System's lore. I also prefered the "bad guy of the week" formula for world-building.

I liked the roles of Shimotsuki and Togane though.

With Cyberpunk meeting 1984 meeting Minority Report, #Psychopass follows an elite force that pursues crime and finds an evil mastermind that flies under the radar of surveillance to destroy the system. But is it a system worth protecting?

You don't know who to root for by the end of S1

#91Days is a brilliant Mafia revenge story, especially because it doesn't glorify the latter. It's a great, character-driven story with a well-crafted, cinematographic language that I can recommend to anyone. Watched it twice in a row!

There's lots of stuff I liked about #DragonBallSuperSuperHero
(e.g. fan callbacks, the gammas, focus away from Goku and Vegeta) and lots of stuff I didn't, like the soulless main baddie and how Toriyama scripts save all the action for the last fight.

#Netoge = SAO + K-On - isekai and irl deaths

Funnily enough, despite its premise hinting at a harem-fantasy, the show quickly sticks to the OTP and creates several wholesome interactions out of it.

NTL, it's still lighthearted Otaku comedy, so not anything to deep

#GQuuuuuuX was my first #Gundam experience. While the aerial battles were a spectacle in the cinema, they barely carried meaning because the film-cut took way too long to introduce the actual main characters.

Will give the series a chance though because I liked the MAV fight.

The plot of #Noragami was just "slightly above average" to me. Imo the cool setting and chars are held back by Hiyori, who's only function (in S1) was being a gate to exposition. Her parts could easily be replaced with the more interesting Yukine or someone else.

#NappingPrincess is one of those films that works best in animation: The story switches between two concurrent realms - Heartland and our reality - and due to the fantastical nature of Anime, we never really know what's real and what isn't until the end. Great Mix!

I saw #NoGameNoLifeZero before the series. It works as it covers a different time and different characters, but I'd still recommend watching it after because of some connections. Also really cool setting and fights.

Also this one has even more lolibait :/

I held off on #NoGameNoLife for quite some time due to it's notorious lolibait. Still wish it had less of that, but the series has lots of the stuff I like: Strategic-Protags, Fate relying on games, silly nerd references and silly humour. Hoping for a Season 2

#TheIrregularAtMagicHighSchool had all the parts to make a great Anime and I liked the military sci-fi Magic setting... but somehow it didn't click for me in it's first Season the first time I watched it. Main issue being how the plot tries to hide it's hand with a terrible poker face.

#Blackfox drew me right in with its backstory of Rikka Isurugi. What happen's next is basically a superhero origin story that may leave some questions unanswered, but if this was a setup for a sequel or series, I'm all up for more.
Well animated for a TV-Anime!

Early episodes of #KillLaKill gave me a hard time. "Bad Guy of the Week" plots seemed predictable and initial silly antics were too over-the-top for me.

Luckily, that magical girl parody quickly evolved into something really awesome. Finale rocked my socks off.

The first original #Overlord movie - The Sacred Kingdom - is best watched between S4 E7 & 8. It's canon, but only has minimal impact.

It could even be watched by those new to the series, as most of the film is framed to be from the POV of the new kingdom.

With S4, Ainz is now known as the Sorcerer King, and the conflicts and political tactics grow bigger and bigger.

Despite his own power, it's still interesting to see the conflicts unfold, as the show focuses a lot on side-characters and those opposed to Ainz

Season 2 goes more into the "Dark #Overlord" nature. As Momonga, now Ainz Ooal Gown, wins territory and allies in the Lizard people, we learn more about his henchmen and how he treats them with their newly developed free will. We also learn how loyal they are, despite their own goals.

#Overlord starts off with a VRMMO player going to the real world, but it's basically a DnD campaign becoming real. The first season (or two recap movies) introduces us to the now alive NPCs, an overpowered protagonist scouting the world as an adventurer and a threat. Solid Start.

#PromisedNeverland (S1) is another one of those Anime that I'd recommend to anyone, even those who don't like animation. It's such a good escape-thriller with so many multi-faceted characters.

Especially loved the clear motivations of the antagonists.

#FutureBoyConan is the directorial debut of Hayao Miyazaki. The Post-Future series holds up surprsingly well with beautiful world building and lessons about nature and war that are still valid today. You can see the influence in Nausicäa, Nadia and even One Piece

I do get the appeal of #TrinitySeven and would be up for a second season, but I feel like the pacing was way too fast for a 12-episode run. It introduced too many threads. Character motivations seemed to be all over the place, which might be bc there were too many

#DemonKingDaimao is mostly just silly, perverted Fantasy Harem Fun but with an interesting concept: A good guy wanting to change the world as a priest is destined to become a Demon Lord. Especially interesting with the prejudice he faces and the alliances he makes.

#MiraiNoMirai tells a predictable coming-of-age story on the SURFACE, but is actually a family chronicle that is collected piece by piece. Telling it from the POV of a boy so young he can barely form clear thoughts yet was certainly challenging and is quite unique.

#Konosuba is just silly, stupid fun. It's an Isekai-Parody, but the Game Design is broken, the characters are OP, but nerfed by their crippling quirks and the hero is a weakling but manages due to stupid luck and slightly above average intelligence.

#91Days hooked me from the very first second. The mafia story convinces with amazing cinematography and fleshed out characters.

I especially love how it's not like your average american revenge-glorifying plot, but depicts it as a downward spiral of violence.

Didn't expect #RageOfBahamutGenesis, a show based on a mobile card battle game by DeNA, to be this good. It has some flaws and plot holes, but the main cast is really likeable and not just your standard anime-protag blueprint. Especially loved the trickster Favaro
