I reached 3 years of hrt last week

3 years on hrt as of today, the first couple of years were a slog growing my hair out and waiting for the hormones to work their magic, and the last year has been terrifying politically, but I'm so proud of the progress I've made in spite of it ⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

One of my favorite 4,000 hit guys is Nelson Barrera. If Héctor Espino is the Babe Ruth of Mexico, I think Barrera is the Lou Gehrig. When I presented at SABR, we had him at 4,054 hits and 614 HR. That was missing ALL playoff data.

Updated totals: 4,347 hits and 647 home runs.

However…

Last night had three Golden Pitch plate appearances (a total of eight pitches) as defined by Toledo mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz. I know he’s up for reelection in a few days but he should really update his SABR-nominated article

Just had a lovely user interview with a retired SABR member who spends his time just looking at and thinking about baseball stats all day and I feel like I’ve been training my whole life for that future.

Começou a ter tiroteio na comunidade que a gente morava la no rio e os uber não queriam aceitar

Demoramos cerca de 2h pro uber aceitar, nem ambulância ia

I am generally supportive of folks who talk about baseball history in social media videos but the number of them that just recite wiki articles is too damn high.

Pick up one book! At least try a SABR article! C’mon, I believe in you!
