A novel SEZ6-targeting ADC carrying a topoisomerase I inhibitor is being developed for neuroendocrine and neuronal solid tumors (e.g., SCLC, glioblastoma, NECs). SEZ6’s selective, consistent expression and efficient internalization may improve efficacy and safety over prior ADCs.

Mlot-Mroz even had a "Katie Daviscourt" moment when he attended a Poor Peoples' march and was reportedly attacked by civil rights protesters. This "vicious attack by the radical left" made national news...the only problem was, it was all a lie intended to discredit the civil rights movement.

Yes, institution building is hard. Got to be enough ADL and SCLC alumn with knowledge and people who see the value.

This paper is very interesting for nsclc. In Brasil, durvalumab, anti PDL1, was only approved this year for nsclc, previously just for sclc. Im not sure if there are studies on its specific interaction whit the covid19 mRNA vaccine but it looks very promising. Pfizer cloud support research like this

Yesterday, Team Caity stopped by the SCLC's Union Job Fair! Along with all the other amazing work the SCLC does, it's great to see them work with local organizations and the city to connect people with more opportunities.

Historical example, when the SCLC was in Cicero, Illinois organizing and mobilizing around ending segregation in the neighborhoods and businesses.

A lot of folk not just this random man took issue. People keep creating a monolithic egalitarian, radical, internationalist negro… THAT WAS NEVER TRUE🤣

That is truly a great idea. The ACLU, SCLC, Urban League, & other legacy Civil Rights Orgs have been trying that within their budget means. The idea is to create MORE battle fronts than the Trump Crime Syndicate can "intelligently" fight! MAGA has more money but- more of Trump's stupid too! 💪✊🗽

Because you are completely misrepresenting not only King but the SCLC as a whole here.

On this #LungCancerAwarenessMonth, we highlight exciting findings from Vignesh Sakthivelu and colleagues showing that SCLC cells can form functional synapses with neurons — allowing cancer cells to use neural signals to drive their growth and revealing a new layer of tumor–neuron communication.

PUSH would become the group that pushed Jackson into the national spotlight and his two presidential runs, while still working on economic justice issues. Operation Breadbasket died in 1972 after SCLC couldn’t keep it going without him.
October 29, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Ralph Abernathy took over SCLC and while he was a good man, he didn’t have a lot of big vision and wanted to consolidate control, pretty ineffectively. In 1971, he demanded that Jackson move from Chicago to Atlanta so Operation Breadbasket could be run from SCLC officers.
October 29, 2025 at 2:59 PM
By 1967, Operation Breadbasket had built $22 million in income each year in the black community from the wages paid to black workers in previously all-white stores. The previous year, Martin Luther King and the SCLC decided to take the idea to Chicago as part of its broader campaign up there.
October 29, 2025 at 2:58 PM
This idea was not invented by Sullivan or the SCLC but it did spread through them through different communities. I’ve seen it in research I’ve been doing on civil rights in Seattle.
October 29, 2025 at 2:56 PM
This worked very well in Philadelphia. In 1962, the SCLC brought Sullivan down to Atlanta to teach them everything he knew. That became Operation Breadbasket. It was pretty successful.
