That is outrageous cherry picking! You sell your stoves in SCAs and have no control over what people burn and as they are “exempt” they are permitted to burn anything. Therefore we need to use the total solid fuel figure for Ecodesign (1.17ktonne) compared to 11.59 ktonne for road traffic.(~10%)

No evidence at all. They claim "modern" stoves all replace open fires but anyone living in a SCA knows they are installed by people who have never burned before. DEFRA report confirms most are new installations and this will be much higher in SCAs as open fires are prohibited.
