Her ability to hate only got sharper as she aged, which makes her at 87, the most brutal scalpel there ever was. She's an inspiration. If only we could all live so long and hate so well

Hah. I have made no progress. This week has been a rough one mentally, so I'm being gentle with myself and working on just getting through work.

#ChefsKiss was inspired by #Shield&Scalpel needing a sequel. Watson & I developed the plot around Liam's necessary growth & change.

Lol, I think it's likely more of a scalpel type implement -- for cutting/reflecting the scalp. Usually the boring implements were much bigger and tougher!

Do they still give out hysterical woman lobotomies for free? I know a lot of girls who could use some piece of mind.

Also do they still let you in to watch or help hold the scalpel or do you have to sit in the waiting room in this post-9/11 society

24: I got my tongue split at 17, payed for someone to take a scalpel and sew it, I was the third person to get it done in Norway, it's like a snake tongue 🐍

-insert parallels between scalpel stabbing and knife to the face stabbing-

-yes they are entirely different but it’s those differences that fascinate meeeeee-

I think overall, #Shield&Scalpel is a hopeful story. It leaves on a hopeful note, and we get to see Liam go from depressed to depressed but with goals and hope. My goal is to impart that hope to my readers. :)

Extraordinary performance today by @nealkatyal.bsky.social before SCOTUS in the tariff case. The argumentation was so crisp, the responses so perfect, it felt like I was listening to a film script. Words as sharp as a scalpel.

Thank goodness for Sotomayor’s scalpel-sharp intellect cutting through such deliberate obscurity.

A potter wasp made a nest in my partner's office, which was fun to watch, but not ideal. I took a scalpel to remove the pots, neat to see the pupae, and the one that failed, and is still full of spiders.
