Normal drums
Drum kit is only kick drum (small), floor tom (almost the same size as kick), hi hat (16" crashes for hats), clap stack with an extra splash on top, and a single 10" rototom with clip on wires as a snare

They only had one rototom in the studio, so they had to pitch it and record for each beat separately. I think there's 7 notes used in the drum solo. I love the spaces between the drum beats as well.

Hence, packing blankets (cheapness) because it's also mass. Mass & soft material forming accordion pleats at least six inches out from the wall makes it actually pretty absorbent, down fairly low. Still kind of subtle, but I like subtle tweaks. Also I have my rototom hand drum kit in there :)
