We've got more hype around Ritangle than we've ever had this year, it's really nice to see. Lovely to bump into groups of students gathering together on a Monday morning to get to work on the next ritangle problem

In #mathstoday, two year 12 boys didn’t think I’d notice they were actually doing today’s Ritangle question! I love how much they are enjoying this competition! The rest of us were doing differentiation optimisation problems which I always enjoy!

In #mathstoday my further math class split three ways: year 13 looking at conservation of energy, some of them started on #Ritangle problem no 1, and year 12 trying to invert 3 x 3 matrices, the poor sods.

In #mathstoday , I’m full of cold so my lessons felt uninspiring, but so proud of the 5 girls sitting the maths Olympiad after school…and excited to already have 8 emails notifying me of teams registering for the Ritangle competition (thanks for @catrionaagg.bsky.social sharing this).

Ours get really into Ritangle. I think it helps that it’s a team competition.
