This wave of book bans follows a recent censorship campaign launched by the Florida Department of Education against Hillsborough County, which led to the removal of over 600 titles from school library shelves pending review in May with no public input.

To comply with the Trump administration's executive orders, the Department of Defense is forcing schools on military bases to ban almost 600 books because they address issues related to race and gender.

We're taking them to court to defend students' right to learn.
