On August 31, 2025, the University of Rhode Island hosts 'The Way We See,' an art exhibit by Anthony Tomaselli that offers a visual and emotional conversation through his work. The exhibit is open from 8:30 AM to 5 PM at Green Hall and Higgins Welcome Center, providing a cultural and artistic experience for the community.

Artists / Artisans Community OPEN STUDIOS at The Mill at Shady Lea
On December 6 and 7, over 30 artist studios in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, open their doors for a special two-day event showcasing a wide variety of artworks including jewelry, rugs, blown glass, sculpture, photography, paintings, rare books, art relics, pottery, and fiber art. The event offers free admission and parking, tax-free purchases, and encourages attendees to support local artists and artisans while kickstarting holiday shopping. Visitors are also encouraged to bring donations for the North Kingstown Food Pantry.
