Nope. That's the MTG faction of "America First". Old School GOP are anti-Putin pro-Ukraine Reaganites.

..between US + Russia. The fact these may have breached numerous rules, plus a big backlash from Reaganites not MAGATs, panicked the White House.

Rubio, more moderate, briefed politicians Witkoff is clueless and the 28pts are the🇷🇺wish-list.
But likely JD told him off.

Yes, it's a variation on "trickle down" economics, so dear to US Reaganites.

She sees no serious effort to address employment problems, especially among new college leavers, because emphasis on tech development and AI is unlikely to created enough jobs.

‘Make room for everybody’?

That’s focus-group derived language intended as blanket justification for moving right, by pols who’ve based careers on remaking D’s as right wing party.

We’re opponents. Dems allied w war pigs, reaganites & oligarchic rule since 1985. The left doesn’t have a party

Trickle-down economics is a bedtime story that un-reconstructed Reaganites and IPA-type dipshits tell their kids at night

Imagine claiming that the Nixonites who defended Watergate, or the Reaganites who carried out Iran/Contra, or the Bushies who covered for extrajudicial wars by writing up torture memos are the non-authoritarian, pluralistic side of the party

The Nazis have always been at the table.

If there were any Reaganites left I would agree. They disappeared. Or rather, the Clintons swallowed them whole. Now MAGA thinks they get to define Reagan and get angry when Canada uses his own words to defy them.
November 16, 2025 at 1:02 PM
But now even Reaganites have to own it.
November 16, 2025 at 12:56 PM
Holy crap. That’s not just some rando area of Cleveland. That’s Bratenahl, a tiny little enclave of wealthy republicans on the far east side along the lake. These are not MAGA folks, but Reaganites. Hardcore conservatives.

50. We need to start with the Reaganites.
November 15, 2025 at 9:29 AM
Do any of these Reaganites ever do any self reflection and realize that they bulldozed the trees and then paved the road for where we are today?

"It’s similar to the role that legacy right-wing media has played in the GOP since 2016, providing ideological cover for grassroots Reaganites to stick with the party amid their queasiness about Trump’s agenda."

When traditional GOP conservatives saw Clinton economics succeed, they knew they were losing their base, so they 1st welcomed the Tea Party & now MAGA. Those two cults have outnumbered the Reaganites. The GOP is gone and now we have to pray Schumer & Jeffries have the

He also single handedly destroyed any power the unions in the south had to bargain with. Yes I remember vividly what Reagan did. I also remember some of those Reaganites were as rabid as the Magas.

looking back 9 years ago, and knowing what you know now, this is something we could have predicted in spades even then. the entire clinton wing of the party are just reaganites.

Pissing Reaganites off is Donald Trump's greatest achievement as a president.

I've been thinking the same thing, and have been bemused that it hasn't been discussed more.

The one thing that Cheney-style neocons, Reaganites, and modern reactionaries share in common is their "starve the beast" ideology. And they talk about it all the time!

AOC’s right. She hasn’t changed sides. She’s playing “I’m not in the cult” on lib media while saying that her goal is to forward Trump’s agenda on theirs.

She knows Georgia has dueling GOP wings— Kemp Reaganites vs MAGA— and a Republican here HAS to get both to win. This change isn’t *for us*.

There are plenty of Reaganites who are all in for MAGA
November 7, 2025 at 4:13 PM
For now. If we keep primarying the centrists out, we'll take over the DNC just like the Trump tea party whack jobs pushed out the Reaganites.

Until we're able to get rid of First Past the Post, our only option is to wrest control of the one party worth at least half a damn.
November 7, 2025 at 4:08 PM
I'm 63 and have been surrounded by Reaganites all my life. Please, Please younger generation, take take the damn baton I've stolen from my cohort and am throwing as far away as possible.
