One hopes that eventually the CPC will see the light and ditch the maple MAGA platform. They’ll isolate the hardcore RWNJs (fuck ‘em) and return to a centre-right identity that more Canadians could get behind. Canada needs a functioning Conservative alternative - not this bunch of MAGA wannabes.

I think I understand her position, I firmly believe in her right to make her own choices, and I know that she absolutely doesn't owe me or anyone else a damn thing.

You're right that its getting harder for Indies but I read somewhere that Climate 200 has many more new donors and I can't see the decline in duopoly primary votes reversing. The splintering of the LNP will concentrate the RWNJs in one place but those needing real governance will turn Indy or Green.
