Thankfully, it doesn't take that long to set up RPCS3. The PS3 did have some really good games, some of which I've made videos for.

12 hours?!? Crikey! I haven’t tried RPCS3. I’ve always assumed my hardware wasn’t good enough to handle it. I did get a real PS3 a few years ago second hand though. It’s a chunk, but with a decent library.

Despite being a 15 minute video, it took me about 12 hours to edit this video. No wonder why bigger YouTubers have dedicated editors. Have you tried RPCS3?

I honestly quite like the game. I wish the coop worked in RPCS3's RPCN system but it eventually will I'm sure.

(I played ModNation Racers on RPCS3 recently for the first time and it was a really fun game. Highly recommend it if you are a fan of LittleBigPlanet.)

Episode two of Linux adventures. Cachyos installed as videogame esoterica uses it. Ridiculously noob friendly install and was very capable without any config. Didn't even have to get dirty with fstab. Rpcs3 up and running well on it.

I mean, I have used emulators like pcsx2, Rpcs3, MelonDS, eden, All on Linux using flatpaks or appimages just fine

- YARG works great as a clone game under active development.
- I primarily play Rock Band 3 Deluxe on RPCS3.
- literally any USB drum kit or USB microphone works on almost everything too.

Playing Neverdead on RPCS3 and there's some super funny ideas at play here - doing puzzles with your decapitated head, ripping off your limbs to throw them as grenades or bait and shooting the environment to collapse ceilings or structures on top of enemies

I do kinda use plutoium myself, I normally emulate because I'm an offline player and I hate DRM, I also hate that theres no true offline lan mode on plutonium so that's why I normally use rpcs3, however the ability to play online again without any RCES is absolute peak

Funny enough I actually also played them on the Xbox 360, I actually still have that same console, it works and so do my discs, However I mostly use PC now, I actually emulate cod games on rpcs3 if you can believe that

I hope so. The problem with 6th gen onward and emulators is people have this tendency to well... ignore platforms they don't think are important because they are brand fans.
Take RPCS3 and Xenia.
The 360 is a far less complex architecture than PS3 but it has a fraction of the volunteers going to it.
