SMW lends itself to romhacks so we'll because the original game itself has the aesthetic of a romhack
Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.

I need more hacks that make existing games to be about lesbians. I need romhackers to start digging into more powerful systems. I have made 1 and almost 2 nintendo ds lesbian romhacks and I'm an idiot, that means anyone could start lesbianing the playstation 2 library if they put their ass into it.

anyways, it's pink hair sanae because i've been playing smw romhacks but using the sanae player sprite, which needed to be able to use the default player palette to play nice with stages that use custom palettes

i've been at exactly this spot with pokemon for a few years now. it's the highest grossing franchise in human history; they 100% can afford to put out better games even on their current schedule. it is additionally appalling that there are so many free romhacks that are that much better

i don't necessarily like doing romhacks, despite liking some that are just "here are every single mon available in this specific gen by combining the prior two releases and/or making each mon's new placement make logical sense", but yea I don't mind this one at all

What do you think are the chances of me managing to reverse the copyright claim on this old video I'm super super proud of and apparently inspired a feature in Super Meat Boy, which later Nintendo copyright claimed because it showed a romhack and Nintendo apparently invented and own romhacks

The mod itself is really fun, I actually just played it with a friend doing Base Game and some Romhacks.
Plus it's surprisingly useful to do some Star Cutscene Skips too with it

The horror/creepypasta ones are always fun crapshoots if they're really good or goofy.
