Ok, my last excitable TS-660 post; just made my 2nd QSO.

The fun part is that he was one of the very first contacts i made, back December 2015 when first licenced.
10 years later, we speak again.. also with 10w.

In the next release of Cloudlog you will be able to switch between Live logging of QSOs and Post Logging just by clicking the badge next to QSO.

I agree, but I can't help but chase them anyway. 😀 The awards that really make me shake my head a bit are those that only require a single QSO with some given country. One contact? That's what QSL cards are for!

I didn't click the link. There's more to the e-mail, including all the contact data lifted from the QRZ page and the decoy e-mail address I use. I've never even confirmed a QSO via QRZ, and I don't have LOTW.

Well, erm, this is new. Does anyone know which date format this platform uses? Does anyone know what I was doing at 00.22 on either the 8th of June or the 6th of August 2021, because I wasn't on air in 2021, and definitely not on SSB at 00.22. Identity theft courtesy of QRZ.com.

I use JS8Call too but rarely manage a QSO, just endless heartbeats...
I'm 15W at the moment and managed a couple of long QSOs into Europe on 20m this afternoon so 5W feels doable in decent conditions

Had an almost hour long QSO with Lenz DL8RDL who talked me through lots of features - great guy!

The previous short and low RS-44 pass looked very promising, unfortunately I didn't hear any other DX station in JN86 except VE4AMU from EN19. Thanks for the QSO again Rick, 7550 km.

Solar conditions are what they are, radio blackouts etc…but there’s usually a beginner looking to make a contact out there somewhere.
Received a nice message after a QSO last night. Feels good to get these.

Good news: The lights are amazing in central Minnesota.
Bad News: The bands are pretty rough - I got all of one QSO tonight that wasn't 3-5 miles away.

I probably wouldn't persevered in the initial years without digi - that first psk31 QSO with an Italian station had me rooted to the radio for the rest of the week.

Glad you're still here! It really is a big hobby. Can't match 61 years but 55 in 2026. Two highlights amongst many.
As a teen, coming down a hill in the dark in Yorkshire from the contest operation tent to the sleeping tent and ending knee deep in a bog, 😅and first EME QSO from my own back garden.
