🚨 SFUSD Layoffs Without Full Staff Cut Impact Assessment?🚨

Before laying off employees, SFUSD must show us where cuts will be made to the remaining 20% of the budget (beyond staffing). We demand transparency and a full Impact Assessment!

Supt. Su reminds us that 80% of the SFUSD budget is spent on staffing. This is as it should be! What is the other 20% and where are those cuts listed? Where is the analysis and what cuts will be made to the millions of dollars in contracts to vendors and staff that are not on the SFUSD payroll? Why isn't SFUSD doing this before laying off full time employees?

No School Closures, Cuts YES Parents Rights Questions?           Cares? The focus of the last board meeting was "keeping the lights on", meaning funding only the very basics. But the cuts include 70 regular PK-12 classroom teachers. How are teachers not essential?
