Als bekennender Zyniker und begeisterter "Ein Münchner im Himmel"-Leser fragt man da schon
sich:
Ist der Topos des ecce homo angesichts der Hinfälligkeit eines einstmals als unfehlbar geltenden Menschen so naheliegend, dass verschiedene Menschen unabhängig voneinander draufkommen, oder war das jetzt doch eine Göttliche Eingebung?

Ich probier's noch mal, mit einer Erklärung.
Es handelt hier um ein lateinisch-jiddisches Wortspiel
sich:
"Seht, welch ein Mensch" bekommt im Jiddischen "zen vos a mentsh" eine andere Bedeutung.
Im Kirchenlatein ist da von Christus die Rede, dessen Stellvertreter zu sein Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger einmal beansprucht hat für
sich.
Im Jiddischen hat מענטש "Mensch" die Bedeutung eines ehrlichen, integren und vorbildlichen Menschen:

Und dazu ist, wie ich das sehe, Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger gerade durch seinen Verzicht auf sein Amt als unfehlbarer Stellvertreter Gottes geworden.

Als fast schon vom Glauben abgefallener Protestant fällt mir zum Papst emeritus weiter die evangelische Liturgie ein, die ich vor langer Zeit im Konfirmationsunterricht, zusammen mit dem "Priestertum aller Gläubigen" [https://de.wikipedia.org/wik…]
gelernt habe:
Der HERR segne ihn und behüte ihn;
der HERR lasse sein Angesicht leuchten über ihn und sei ihm gnädig;
der HERR erhebe sein Angesicht über ihn und gebe ihm seinen Frieden.

My dad bought me Khalil Gibran's The Prophet shortly before I was confirmed into the church and it killed my Christianity. I don't think that was the desired effect, but it happened nonetheless.

My dad bought me Khalil Gibran's The Prophet shortly before I was confirmed into the church and it killed my Christianity. I don't think that was the desired effect, but it happened nonetheless.
My current estimates are that the FALSE PROPHET was born during COVID TIMES. She is alive, age 6 currently, living in South Africa or Turkey. These countries have large numbers of BUSES for their citizens to travel in. Her name in the prophecies is MABUS.
