Something that may help (I learned this from making Star Trek LCARS) is getting letter sized transparency (like the kind our teachers used for overhead projectors) and printing a black only mask. If you put it between the print and the LEDs it will help blot out unwanted light

The **TCL A1s** is an interesting mid-range portable projector that comes with good specs and a neat, fairly minimalist design with a handheld handle that doubles as a kickstand.
A small projector with Android which highlights its great audio system, as it has two speakers of **8 W** each and 3 passive radiators with low vibration to have minimal movement in the projected image. It projects image in FullHD quality with a brightness of up to **600 ANSI lumens** and to improve it the TCL _TrueHue technology_ engine is used.
The operating system is **Google TV 11** that includes the Widevine L1 certificate, it is **certified for Netflix** and we have **Dolby Audio** support to not have decoding problems in this type of content. Finally we emphasize that a useful carrying case with shoulder strap is included.
## TCL A1s Specifications
This projector features **LCD** projection technology, native **Full HD 1080p** resolution and **600 ANSI Lumens** brightness. The focus is automatic and also the **keystone** correction and we can get a screen with recommended dimensions of between **45″ and 150″** placing it between 1.26 and 3.3 meters.
The system comes with a **Bluetooth remote control** and although it seems that we do not have physical controls the top surface of the projector is a touchpad.

RAM is **2 GB DDR3** and storage is **16 GB** eMMc and includes wifi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
