In 1807, the ship Anne Marie was captured by the British Navy while sailing from the Faroe Islands to Denmark. Five packages and two hundred letters were confiscated from the ship and survived, still sealed, in the Prize Papers. What’s inside? Read below to find out. /1

Neuron HIIT this AM: transcribing a letter by the same Dutch person of yesterday, now in their 1664 take on FRENCH rather than English. Quite impressed by their versatility, but what do I know. Happy that Lingua Franca had replaced Latin by then, though, phew. 😅 #prizepapers #prizepapersopera
