It's disappointing to realize but people are people, and they have limited time and resources, and those tangle together to where the best predPOV you're really getting is a different button to click on a preyPOV game. That's the conspiracy here; people are people who like what they like.

As for that pet theory on why people don't realllly do predpov in vore games: I think it literally just comes down to the way that people have thought of mechanics? pred pov would have to be more of an undertaking since the thrill is less in the end state, whereas prey pov you are playing to fail
