Great article. Chilling paragraph regarding JFKj's approach to the bird flu outbreaks in poultry in there. (spoiler - eugenics.) Do we really think he'd have a different approach in mind if it jumped to humans?

So my idiot neighbors had a GSD that has murdered 30+ of my poultry, attacked my partner, my Chihuahua and me. I still made sure he went to a no kill facility to have a chance at a better life. Noem deserves (redacted).

New CIDRAP update: H5N1 keeps popping up in US poultry—turkey farms in the Dakotas + a 231k-bird egg facility in CA, plus cases in MI/IN. Human risk still low, but big hits to farms and a reminder this virus isn’t going away. #H5N1 🐔 scientificinquirer.com/2025/11/07/d...

I’d need that free turkey to see SEVEN BRIDES. It’s always made me feel icky, even as a kid.

That said, where do you put the turkey? Do you get it after? Does the theater smell like poultry? So many questions. Wondering if this promo went all sorts of WKRP wrong. 😂

Four people were injured in the drone attack on Pavlohrad (pics⬇️) I reported on earlier. Infrastructure and a local business were hit.

In addition, three other Dnipropetrovsk civilians were also injured during the day. Those came in Nikopol, where a school, gas station + poultry farm were damaged.

My people make fish and chips and put it on a heap of dressing ( poultry stuffing that's never been inside a bird ) and gravy.

It's heaven.

Three years into a brutal wave of the virus, industry leaders raised evidence that bird flu was entering barns differently and evading even the strictest protocols. They suspected it could be airborne and begged officials to deploy a proven weapon against the disease: a vaccine for poultry.

This is an amazing report from ProPublica ... bird flu likely to have spread via the air.

Can't get much scarier than this. Various estimates of the mortality rate in humans (25% to 50%), but wiki points out that "a lethal avian strain would surely lose genes contributing to its lethality in humans
