New MAMP from nematodes (derived from a peptide of trehalase), is also found in insects and fungi. Plant immune responses require lectin receptor kinases - LecRK-Vs. Cool! I like the old-school protein biochem for MAMP ID. 🙂 #PlantPathogenInteractions #PlantScience
