A children's book illustration featuring 5 Pill Cockroaches (Perisphaerus sp.) dwelling among leaf litter on the forest floor. In the background, one is depicted in it's defensive rolled up "ball" form. Another one in the background, which looks more similar to a traditional cockroach, is a male of the species hence the difference in appearance.
