Love #EmilyGravett, she is one of my must get picturebook makers.

“Bear’s Nap” is a joyously funny book about a bear being disturbed preparing for hibernation. It’s a fab interactive read-a-loud full of playful humour. The art is a characterful and charming . Lovely. #PicturebookPage

A proper version for older primary. “Hansel and Gretel” by @stephenking.bsky.social using illustrations made by #MauriceSendak for an opera in 1997, carried the right sense of darkness and threat. A dark tale wonderfully told in luscious edition. Fab stuff! #PicturebookPage
