Seeing zero northern lights in our part of Philly so far, but it seems like that might be down to light pollution. Cities are very good for people, but not for nothing, a glimpse of the Milky Way from a relatively dark part of the world is also good for a person.

On day one of the shutdown, a TSA agent in Philly ranted to us about how pissed off he was that he had to come to fucking work & not get paid. He was mad at me for not feeling chatty. I think about him often. I hope he hasn't lost that fire.

But so far, the most unbelievable thing is that they without fail are able to easily park in front of their home in Philly, never have to circle the block, never even a door over.
