Asking PhD students “Do you feel like an impostor?” is wild—every hand goes up. But they can’t all be impostors. You’re doing things for the first time, stretching your limits… of course it feels strange. Keep going. You belong more than you think.

#70DaysofPhD A good day yesterday, completely rereading my Lit Review & making notes for additions needed & where I can create a dialogue with my data analysis. Today, I'm doing very little (out to lunch) but I will tidy up a conf. abstract before I go. #PhDSky

Recently attended a @providenceresearch.bsky.social event featuring a @heartlunginnov.bsky.social panel of grant-writing experts! ✏️
From crafting a compelling narrative to managing rejection, their advice for trainees was incredibly insightful.
Looking forward to the next event!

Chances are high that researchers at your institution never learned how to write "correctly".

We teach them how to develop scientific papers with a story in a structured (and time-efficient) way.

You don’t have to do this alone. Reach out to others who understand what you’re going through — in your program, your field, or online. The more you talk, the more you’ll see: no one has it all figured out.

Higher Ed retaliation is real.

The fact that so many survivors stay silent isn’t proof that it doesn’t happen—it’s proof of how well universities suppress it.

It’s normal to feel lost, confused, or unsure about your direction during your PhD. Every researcher hits that point where nothing makes sense. Take a breath. Keep going. Eventually it all starts to become clearer.
